The eagerly anticipated 2016/17 FA Vase Second Qualifying Round tie has a new date and location.
The game has been switched to Friday 23rd September and has also been moved to Binfield’s Hill Farm Lane.
We understand both clubs agreed the change of venue was necessary due to the high interest in the game which was due to take place at Bracknell’s temporary home at Sandhurst Town.
As it is an FA tie the gate money will be split 50/50 between the two competing teams, and we are surmising here that both clubs will believe they can generate a bigger gate if the game is at Binfield.
The league tie between the two sides has also been moved. Due to be played on 20th September three days before the cup tie, this has rather sensibly been put back until December but it does mean Binfield will be without a competitive game until the Vase.
The full draw for the second qualifying round of the FA Vase is here.
