Bracknell Town FC vs Binfield FC the plum FA Vase Second Qualifying Round tie 

B3018 rivals Bracknell Town and Binfield will meet in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round after both sides came through their ties this weekend.

Bracknell beat Hook Norton 5-1 on Friday night while Binfield had a late scare at Buckingham Athletic.

The two will now meet on Saturday 24th September at Bracknell’s temporary home at Sandhurst Town – although a tweet by Bracknell chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse suggested both sides may try to move the game to Friday night (23rd).

Both Sandhurst Town and Woodley United were in the hat for the next round but both suffered defeats. The Fizzers were beaten 3-0 at Bedfont & Feltham while Woodley lost 4-0 at home to Ardley United.

Windsor FC, the other local side in action on the opening day of the Vase were beaten 3-1 at Daventry Town.
