The season is at an end for Binfield. Well the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League one will be anyway after Longlevens visit to Hill Farm Lane on Saturday.

Here’s what you can expect if you head down.

Difficult to be consistent

Manager Roger Herridge has praised his players work rate  this week despite two 1-0 defeats on the road.

Consistency has been the hardest thing for his side with the number of games expected out of players in a short space of time but the Moles boss has been pleased with how his side have responded after the heavy defeat at Brimscombe last weekend.

The Gloucester club problem

Given we went to great lengths to show you Binfield’s record in Gloucestershire was excellent last week, and they promptly lost, we’re going to go right ahead and tell you that the Moles record against the same sides at home isn’t quite up to scratch and wait for them to prove us wrong. Which they will. It’s the reason we stopped predicting results after one game.

Injuries and next season

Roger has a host of players back that missed out through injury on Thursday but is still without Jemel Johnson and the fresh injury of Chris Dean.

Plans are already in place to improve on the basis set by the club this season on the pitch and Herridge is confident of bringing in a few new faces to improve the squad.
