Enterprise National League South Slough Town have loaned Reading FC youngster Shay Spencer until October.
The 20-year-old Royals midfielder has played five times for the First Team, three in the EFL Trophy, once in the FA Cup and once in League Two where he was a substitute in the 4-1 win over Crawley Town.
Last season he played 13 times for Wealdstone in the National League and will now gain further first team experience with Alan Julian’s side.
The Rebels have been no slouches when it comes to changes at Arbour Park this summer since the departure of Scott Davies – not least the new headline font on the club’s website which is taking a little getting used to.
Midfielder Chris Regis has put pen to paper having impressed during pre-season. He played in the Step 5 Eastern Counties League last season but comes with Football League experience at Colchester United and Southampton – he was also an England under 17 international.
Bracknell Town
2025 Love Island finalist Harry Cooksley is one of several new faces at Bracknell Town following a squad shake-up three weeks into Adam Hopkins reign.
The midfielder has played League Two football with Aldershot Town and AFC Wimbledon but has most recently starred for upwardley mobile Farnham Town where he made over 111 appearances across the Combined Counties League, Isthmian League and Southern League Premier Division South.
Cooksley wasn’t in the squad for the heavy opening day defeat at Plymouth Parkway, but did score on his debut on Tuesday night in the 3-2 win over Gloucester City.
The Robins have also added Kai Tanner on loan from Farnham for 28-days and signed Adam Liddle from the same side. The striker has quite the pedigree having played for Reading, Derry City in Ireland as well as Chelmsford City and Eastbourne Borough.
Binfield
The Moles have swooped for several of Woodley United’s successful 25/26 side that reached the Combined Counties League Division One play-offs. Eden Downes, Archie Simpson and Troy Williams are among the former Kestrels confirmed by Binfield so far, while Ross Weatherstone has also signed London Brookshaw from Harrow Borough.
Windsor & Eton
The Royalists have moved for Thatcham Town’s 17 year old Harvey Nash as well as former Hungerford Town and Hartley Wintney striker Conor Lynch. Former Bracknell Town right-back Marcus Johnson-Schuster has also been confirmed as had former Robins youngster Jack Penton.
