Combined Counties League Premier Division North Reading City have strengthened their forward line with the addition of Stefan Brown.
The centre forward was most recently with Marlow but has also featured for Basingstoke Town, Wealdstone and Maidenhead United amongst others.
Brown has scored goals across the pyramid and is in the record books for the fastest hat-trick by a substitute in the FA Cup when he scored three in 15 minutes for AFC Totton in their First Round Proper tie against Bradford Park Avenue in 2011.
He was also part of the famous Hungerford Town side that won promotion to the National League South.
In a statement on the club website, manager Simon Johnson said: “Stefan is an excellent addition to the squad and is a proven goalscorer across multiple non-league levels.
“To have a players of Stef’s quality and pedigree in our group is brilliant and I am really looking forward to working with him. He will bring not only quality but a whole lot of experience to help progress the squad as a whole. Welcome Stefan.”
The forward joins Ash Artwell at City for the 25/26 season along with former captain Adam Cashin-Murray and Oli Bourne.
