Much of the talk surrounding Bracknell Town this summer has revolved around the roles of chairman and CEO. However, there’s also been moves to improve the playing squad at Bracknell after the loss of some key figures.
Manager Jordan Ive has had to deal with the departures of Joe Grant, Ashley Lodge and Haydon Vaughan, all of whom have left to take on new challenges higher up the pyramid. Vaughan has signed for Aldershot, while Grant and Lodge have joined Chesham United in National League South.
With the departures of three key figures Ive has moved to sign on the majority of the players who did so well to secure a play-off spot for the Robins last term. Michael Eacott, Ralph Vigrass, Great Evans, Adam Richards, Max Herbert, Ethan Burden, Jordan Esprit, KJ Osu, Darryl Harrison and Elliot Legg have all re-signed for the club.
Also joining the Robins are midfielders Teddy Lawrence (QPR youth / Aveley) and Jack McKnight. Defender Joe Dandy formerly of Slough Town and Hanwell Town forward Isaac Olorunfemi have also signed for Ive’s side.
There are also some familiar faces returning to Bracknell with Anthony Cheshire signing on after a year away at Weymouth and former Slough Town and Dartford forward Dan Roberts signing for the club where he made his senior debut.
Bracknell Town have finalised their pre-season schedule with fixtures against Sandhurst Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, Merstham, Westfield, Carshalton Athletic, Hartley Wintney, Binfield and Farnham Town. Their first pre-season friendly is against Sandhurst at Bottom Meadow on Tuesday 2nd July.
