Southern League Premier Division South Hungerford Town have strengthened their forward line with the addition of former Maidenhead United striker Dave Tarpey.
The centre forward has joined the Crusaders on a two month loan from Leatherhead.
A striker with a serious non-league pedigree, Tarpey was a key component of Maidenhead’s National League South title winning campaign. He went on to play for Barnet and Bracknell Town.
The Crusaders started the season with a 7-0 win over Plymouth Parkway but have since suffered defeats at Chesham United and Bracknell, the latter of which is discussed on our latest podcast with Robbie Stelling.
Hungerford already have Conor McDonagh and Sean Moore among their forward ranks but are waiting on the recovery from injury of former Crawley Town striker David Bremang.
