Kick off in the Vanarama National League South edges nearer and Slough Town have made three more signings including a youngster who impressed at Binfield last season.
The Rebels have added 20-year old Harvey Harry to their squad after he impressed on trial over the summer.
Manager Scott Davies revealed on the club website he was planning on dual registering Harvey, but performances mean he’s played his way into the squad.
Davies said: “Having played for Binfield last season, the plan was to dual register him with a Step 3 club to further his development, but after his performance on Saturday against Uxbridge he’s now got us thinking that he could be a great asset to have in the squad.”
The Slough boss added the club would need to make sure Harry was able to get game time and continue to develop.
Slough have also added winger David Ogbonna from Hertford Town where he scored 31 goals in the last two seasons while midfielder Leon Chambers-Parillion is the third man in the door having previously played alongside Davies while at Biggleswade Town.
Davies said: “I played with Leon when he came to Biggleswade Town on loan from Oxford United a couple of seasons back. During that spell where I played in midfield with him, he really impressed.”
Chambers-Parillion played through the age groups at Oxford from under 18s to under 21s with a series of loans to non league sides including Gloucester City, Havant & Waterlooville and Kings Langley.
Slough have friendlies remaining against Banbury United, Bracknell Town and Charlton Athletic before the season kicks off with an away day to Maidstone United on the 5th August.
