Wokingham & Emmbrook have started building a squad for their upcoming Combined Counties League Premier Division North campaign. They have retained a large number of players who were part of their squad last season, but there are some new faces at the club.
Elliot Amadieu, Tunde Owolabi and Josh Harris have signed on for the Sumas as they look to improve on their 17th placed finish last term.
The Sumas have announced that Calum Gethin-Barkway, Mike O’Connor, Sam Green, Jack Sharman, Toby Haworth, Ben Maunders, Lewis Wilson, Callum Wright, Emilio Fantocchio, Jake Woods and players player of the Year Alex Badshah are all back at Lowther Road for another Step 5 season. Experienced goalkeeper Sean Woodward who has played over three hundred games for the club will also be back for the new campaign.
The club has also revealed their youth team players Ryan Scott, Dan Harris, Archie Collier and Jamie Goodwin have signed forms for the upcoming season.
The club has however seen top scorer Joao Jardim depart.
Wokingham & Emmbrook kick off their campaign on Saturday 5th August when they host Cinderford Town of the Hellenic League at Lowther Road.
