Binfield striker Conor Lynch has made the switch to Southern League outfit Winchester City.

Lynch joined the Moles midway through last season and finished as the sides top scorer with 12 goals as Binfield narrowly missed out on the Isthmian League South Central Division One play-offs.

For the former Hungerford Town and Thatcham Town striker, the move is a step up the Pyramid to the Southern League Premier Division South with games against the likes of Basingstoke Town and Bracknell Town to come.

Announcing the move, a Winchester statement said: “[We] are delighted to announce the signing of Conor Lynch and Trevor Caborn after an extremely fruitful trial period in pre-season!”

The Moles were due to play Bracknell Town in a pre-season fixture on Saturday but had to pull out of the fixture.
