James Richardson makes Reading City switch

Attacker has made as switch in the Combined Counties League title race

Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division North side Reading City have bolstered their attacking options with the addition of James Richardson.

Richardson, who came through the youth ranks at Ascot United, had returned to the Yellas last season after spells with Chesham United and Chalfont St Peter but now joins up with the Cityzens.

The forward, who was capped as an England Schoolboy, joins Reading in a race for the Premier Division North title against his former club.

City currently trail Ascot by four points in the title race but have a game in hand – the two sides are due to face each other on Tuesday night.
