Combined Counties League Premier Division North Windsor have completed a stunning move for Slough Town forward Ben Harris.

Harris, until recently, was playing up front in the Vanarama National League South, but has opted to link up again with Mick Woodham at Step 5 Windsor.

Announcing the news in a social media post, Windsor tweeted: “We are delighted to announce the return of Ben Harris to Stag Meadow.

“Harris goes straight into the squad for todays match against Holyport.”

The news is a coup for Windsor, with Harris still scoring goals three divisions higher this season with 43 overall for Slough.

The striker played under Woodham as a youngster for Windsor, and then Bracknell Town before spells with Hampton & Richmond Borough, Team Wellington in New Zealand, and Ascot United before joining Slough where he’d been since 2018.

Windsor host Holyport in a Berkshire derby at Stag Meadow on Saturday. Kick off 3pm. All the weekend fixtures are here.
