Isthmian League South Central Division One champions Bracknell Town will have some serious competition for the number one jersey next season after confirming the return of Michael Eacott.

Eacott joined the Robins from Sutton Common Rovers following an injury to Mark Scott last season and was part of one of the meanest defences in the country, conceding just 12 league goals.

The current Bracknell number one though will have serious competition from Simon Grant – the Marlow goalkeeper – who has reportedly signed on at Bottom Meadow following the departure of Scott.

Eacott played 30 times for Bracknell as they went on to lift the Isthmian League South Central title at a canter, and manager Bobby Wilkinson said of his return: “β€œIt’s great to have Mike with us again, welcome back onboard.”
