Ascot United have signed forward Sean McCormack for the forthcoming 2021/22 Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division season.
McCormack spent the curtailed 2020/21 season at Walton & Hersham in Division One where he helped the Swans to promotion back to the Premier, playing 13 times scoring 10 goals.
If the name is familiar, McCormack has had spells in recent seasons with both Bracknell Town and Binfield, the latter toward the end of the curtailed 2019/20 season where his spell was cut short due to the pandemic.
Announcing the news on social media, the Yellamen’s statement said: “We are delighted to announce the signing of the highly talented Sean McCormack and we are very excited to watch him link up with the rest of the squad.”
