Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Division One side Walton & Hersham appear to be setting their stall out exceedingly early with a series of player announcements.

The step 6 side, who recently appointed Scott Harris as manager, have been busy announcing a number of signings on the clubs social media pages including former Bracknell Town and Binfield forward Sean McCormack.

Announcing the move, the Swans twitter account shared: “The Club are delighted to announce that Sean McCormack will be joining us from next season onwards. Sean is a dynamic forward, with the ability to occupy any attacking role. He’s most recently played at Met Police and Bracknell Town, whilst also previously playing for Maidenhead United.”

McCormack played 10 times for Isthmian League South Central Bracknell, scoring once and made one appearance off the bench for Hellenic League Binfield this season in the final game before the competition was cancelled.

It’s worth noting that at present – unless it has been specified otherwise, players won’t be officially registered with the club and Combined Counties League until at least the end of June when registration forms are made available. There is, as yet no indication when a 2020/21 season might kick off.
