Ascot United sign Keaton August from Windsor

Attacker swaps Windsor for the Racecourse

Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division North Ascot United have sealed the signature of Keaton August from neighbours Windsor.

August played 17 times for Windsor last season scoring three times as well as eight times in 2019/20 when he scored once.

The attacker was confirmed as a new signing for the Yellamen on Monday night.

As well as Windsor, South African-born August has experience with Aylesbury United, who have produced the following biography: “Young winger/forward signed from Windsor FC in January 2020 having started the season with a brief spell at Walton Casuals. Keaton was born in South Africa before moving to New Zealand at the age of one, then coming to the UK in 2014. Played junior football for Brisbane Strikers in Australia, then Slough Town and Cox Green Academy before Windsor. Spent the majority of the previous season with Chalfont St. Peter.”

As well as August, Ascot have bolstered their attacking intent with the signing of Sean McCormack from Walton & Hersham and announced a number of re-signings including George Lock and captain Louis Bouwers.
