Seth Twumasi swaps Maidenhead United for Dover Athletic

Experienced defender spent three years at York Road

Defender Seth Twumasi has departed Maidenhead United for new Vanarama National League South side Dover Athletic.

Twumasi spent three years at York Road with the Magpies after joining from Maidstone United.

Twumasi began his career with Chelsea and has represented England at under 16, 17, 18 and under 20 level and has also played for Yeovil Town and Peterborough United amongst others.

The defender is one of a number of players to depart York Road this summer including Josh Coley and Danilo Orsi who have both joined Football League sides while James Comley and Jerry Wiltshire departed at the end of their contracts.

Maidenhead have made several significant signings, including tying down forward Sam Barratt to a two-year contract extension.
