Hungerford Town striker Craig Fasanmade has joined Vanarama National League Wealdstone on a one-month loan deal.

The Crusaders league season in the National League South has been curtailed meaning Fasanmade will get valuable match time in the top-tier competition with the Stones.

A social media post from Hungerford revealed the striker moves with their backing: “Good luck to Crusaders striker Craig Fasanmade who joins Wealdstone on a one month loan.

“The club are delighted for Craig to play at this level and we’re sure he will do Hungerford Town proud.”

Hungerford had been chasing a play-off spot before their season was ended after manager Danny Robinson engineered a remarkable turnaround for the Crusaders after relegation had looked a certainty at the end of the 2019/20 season, with Fasanmade a key part of that side.

Fasanmade joined Hungerford in the summer from Oxford City having previously been part of the Reading FC Academy.
