Lockdown 2 might be upon us but that hasn’t stopped Chalvey Sports dipping in to the transfer market to bolster their squad in preparation for the resumption of the 2020/21 season.

The Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East side have added the trio of Luke Axton-Hall, Jamie Connor and Ryan Tye to their squad.

Imposing centre-back Axton-Hall in particular had been a regular fixture for Woodley United having joined with former Finchampstead boss Jon Laugharne in 2018 and made 39 appearances for the Kestrels.

Tye, a midfielder had previous experience with Woodley, Finch and Holyport while Connor joins from Combined Counties League Premier Division side Frimley Green where he’d played five times this season.

A statement on the Stabmonks social media page said: “We are please to welcome Jamie Connor, Ryan Tye and Luke Axton-Hall to the club. All three bring a wealth of experience at step 6 and higher and will bring experience and fantastic ability to the team.

The trio will be familiar to each other, signed on as they are for Bracknell & District Sunday League Premier Division side Finchampstead Athletic.
