Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One Bracknell Town have signed striker Jonathan Hippolyte from division rivals Chertsey Town.

25-year-old Hippolyte scored 15 goals for the Curfews last season in 34 appearances but is – according to FootballWebPages – yet to register in 2020/21 after seven games for the Surrey side.

Hippolyte, son of former Maidenhead United boss Johnson, who he played under at the Magpies, has featured for a number of clubs in the National League and at step 3 including Hampton & Richmond Borough, Met Police and Staines Town.

Reporting on Bracknell’s Twitter page, manager Bobby Wilkinson was quoted as saying: “The Gaffa is delighted to announce the signing of Jonathan Hippolyte from Chertsey Town. He has been a big admirer of his for a number of seasons now Jonathan comes with lots of energy, electric pace and the right character to join our family.”
