Striker Felipe Barcelos has announced his departure from Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town.
The forward, a summer signing for Bracknell from Thatcham Town, posted a message on social media on Tuesday afternoon and it is understood work commitments played a part in his departure.
Writing on Twitter, Barcelos said: “Thank you to everyone at Bracknell Town for all their belief in me, but due to change of circumstances in my personal life I won’t be able to commit as much I would like to! Was really looking forward to it, but I’m sure you guys will do well, you have lots of talented players!”
The Brazilian, who has also played for Didcot Town and Oxford City, scored 24 times in 36 games for Thatcham last season with the Kingfishers looking set for the title prior to the season’s early end.
Robins boss Bobby Wilkinson said: “His work commitments he couldn’t fully be there every single week, if you played for me you have to be able to be fully committed.”
On Friday, Bracknell made the surprise announcement that attacker Joe Grant had rejoined the club after a season away with Slough Town in the National League as well as Hayes & Yeading United.
