The signings continue to role in for Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division Reading City, this time it’s former Watford youth player Lewis Bebb.
A midfielder, Bebb made 16 appearances last season for Bracknell Town‘s reserve side as the Robins finished second in the Suburban League Premier Division as well as 10 games for Camberley Town in the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division.
Speaking to the clubs official website, manager Simon Johnson said: “Very excited to have Lewis with us. He’s an exciting young talent with a fantastic attitude. He has come into pre-season and made an immediate impression. I’m am really happy to be working with him this season and look forward to seeing him develop. He’ll really add a buzz to the squad”.

As well as new signings, City have received £500 from the FA and Premier League’s Club Preparation Fund to help ensure The Rivermoor can reopen to Government guidance around hygiene and social distancing and the FA’s plans for a phased return to football.
On Saturday, the Cityzens will hold a behind closed doors pre-season friendly with Camberley Town, and will hold a minutes silence before kick off in tribute to the men who lost their lives in the Forbury Garden attack. More details on the club website here.
