Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division Reading City’s fax machine has had a busy couple of weeks with the latest addition of forward Lorenzo Medford to the Rivermoor ranks.

Medford was part of the City squad last season that battled relegation and successfully retained a place at step 5, but opted to join Division One East AFC Aldermaston in the summer.

The forward played eight times last season for Simon Johnson’s side scoring three goals

Writing on the City website, Johnson was glad to have the forward back. He said: “Glad to have Lorenzo back in the squad with us. Another attacking option and a top man with some great experience. Welcome back Lorenzo.”

As well as the Atom Men where he played seven games, Medford has this season also played for Thames Valley Premier League Newbury (eight appearances) and featured for the leagues representative side in the FA Inter League Cup.
