Bracknell Town midfielder James Mulley has confirmed his departure from the BetVictor Isthmian League South Central side in a social media post.
Mulley, the man who famously equalised at Port Vale for Maidenhead United in the FA Cup sparking ‘pandemonium’ – was signed in the summer by former boss Sam Lock.
He posted: “Dust has settled… Been a minute since I’ve spoken about my situation. Was for the best that I step away from Bracknell Town as things just didn’t quite work out – it happens. Wishing all the boys there the very best! Great bunch of lads… Looking forward now..”
Mulley is one of a number of departures recently alongside forward Charlie Losasso who picked up a goal and a man of the match award for Beaconsfield Town in a 2-1 defeat to Hendon on Monday night and he was joined at Holloways Park by Anthony Mendy.
The Robins have also seen coach Michael Butcher depart (3rd November) saying on twitter: “Having taken some time to consider my position at the club, I have decided it’s time for me to leave Bracknell Town and look for a new challenge.”
There have been several new recruits at the Lane though with crowd favourite Kensley Maloney returning while a new striker and goalkeeper have also been signed.
