Danny Horscroft signs for Windsor

Former Binfield and Woodley United midfielder Danny Horscroft has joined Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Windsor.

The dynamic midfielder left the Moles last week after playing 13 times and scoring three goals for the club this season.

Last term he played 41 times scoring seven goals, including an excellent individual effort against Reading City in a Moles 3-2 win.

Horscroft will be a useful addition to the Royalists who have recovered after a slow start to the season but suffered heavy defeats in their last two games, one against Binfield and Saturday’s 7-1 FA Vase defeat to Eastbourne Town.

The move was confirmed by the clubs twitter page.

He was previously part of the Woodley United side that won promotion to the Premier Division in 2017 as well as the Berks & Bucks FA Intermediate Cup.

New boss Mark Cooper’s side are eighth in the Hellenic Premier an face Burnham at The Gore on Tuesday night.
