Binfield striker Ian Davies has made the move across to Combined Counties League side Ascot United, the clubs twitter account has confirmed.
There aren’t many guarantees in football, but Ian Davies and goals is one that does tend to hold true with the front man netting regularly for Binfield over two spells, Bracknell Town and Woodley United.
Last season the striker hit 25 goals in 37 games for the Moles but missed the final few games of the season, including the Floodlit Cup Final defeat with injury. In 2017/18 he scored 30 in 38 for Binfield and two in two for Woodley, ironically both in the home fixture against the Moles.
The signature of Davies will go someway to filling the gap left by the departure of Nathan Minhas in January and Dan Price this summer to Bracknell Town.
