New Combined Counties League Premier Division side Ascot United have confirmed they have retained three key players for the 2019/20 season.

Having been moved laterally by the FA in the summer from the Hellenic League, the club will embark on a maiden CCL adventure with trips to Camberley Town, Guildford City and Knaphill on the horizon.

There will undoubtedly be some new faces at the new look Racecourse Ground this summer but the club have moved quickly to confirm that captain Louis Bouwers, Chris Ellis and Jonny Denton who made his 100th appearance for the club last season will all return.

Between the trio they made 115 appearances for the Yellamen in a season that culminated in a Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Challenge Cup win against Windsor.

Denton made 46 appearances in all competitions scoring four goals while Bouwers made 37 with five goals and Ellis 32 with one goal.

The Yellamen have seen Dan Price and Kai Walters join coach Aaron Steadman at Isthmian League Bracknell Town but will be playing on a brand new 3G surface at the Racecourse next season with work well underway at the club.
