Bracknell Town sign Thatcham’s Gavin James

Bracknell Town manager Carl Davies  has added to his striking ranks with the announcement that international forward Gavin James will be plying his trade next season at Larges Lane.

The forward, who has made nine appearances for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines scoring once ended last season at Thatcham Town playing in the Buildbase FA Vase final at Wembley.

James had a prolific 2014/15 season at Flackwell Heath scoring 38  goals in 36 matches to secure the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division golden boot while his side also won the league title.

A move to then National League South side Maidenhead United followed in the Summer of 2015 before a move to Slough Town saw him net one goal every three matches.

Bostik League South Central Division sides will need to watch out with Bracknell Town and Davies now boasting James, Liam Ferdinand, Adam Cornell and Josh Helmore amongst his ranks.

Bracknell Town begin their Bostik League South Central Division 1 campaign at home to Waltham Abbey on Saturday 11th August. The Robins full league fixtures are here.
