Striker Mitchell Parker will be playing at Scours Lane again after Reading City confirmed his signature for the 2018/19 Hellenic League season.

Already announced by Bracknell Town this pre season it has been confirmed that Parker has signed solely for the newly renamed City for the Hellenic League Premier Division season.

Parker played 26 times scoring 25 goals for City’s predecessor – Highmoor Ibis – last season and looks set to lead the line again as managers Andy Findlay and Rob Creech appear to be putting together a decent squad.

Joining Parker at Scours Lane is another former Ibis player in Joe Grant, not to be confused with the Bracknell Town winger Joe Grant while the club have also snapped up former Oxford United goalkeeper Eddy Cavanagh.

Weekend signings

Prior to the weekends 4-1 win over Eversley & California, Reading had announced the signings of midfielder Eddie Lazarczuk, winger Muctaru Conte and former Binfield midfielder Jamie Connor.
