Binfield have confirmed the signature of former Maidenhead United youth team goalkeeper Sam Gray ahead of the 2017/18 Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division campaign.
Gray was a captain of the all conquering Magpies 2014/15 Allied Counties Youth League Premier division side that won the league and cup double beating Bracknell Town 6-4 in a terrific final.
Moles boss Roger Herridge had stated that reserve team goalkeeper Liam Vaughan would have a chance to secure the Hill Farm Lane number 1 jersey but has reportedly made the move to Basingstoke Town. Herridge had already made it clear he was looking to increase his goalkeeping options following the departure of Mo Nyamunga to Combined Counties side Badshot Lea.
