Central defender Joe Yeates becomes the fifth player this summer to depart Ascot United for local rivals Bracknell Town.

He joins goalkeeper Chris Grace, defender Dave Hancock, midfielder Lee Boon and forward Joe Grant in making the switch to Larges Lane.

There’s no official announcement from the club yet unless we’ve missed it but Yeates appears on the Hellenic League FA Full-Time system as a Robins player after playing 19 times for the Yellamen last season.

Returning to Larges Lane from last season is defender Lee Rushe whilst the club have announced on Twitter than Jamie McClurg is also staying at Bracknell.

Ascot United have finally announced some signings of their own following a bit of a player exodus, with former Maidenhead United youngster Brandon Baker-Timms joining the Yellamen.
