Maidenhead United take one step closer to title retention

Goals from Alex Dover and Izzy Stockton secure Maidenhead’s place in the Berks & Bucks County Cup semi-final. They headed in at half time 1-0 up before Stockton fired home to confirm the Magpies victory. Stockton adding to her 5 in 12 goal tally and the side making one step closer to retaining their title.

Ascot are due to play New Bradwell St Peter on Tuesday night for their chance to book their place also.

Emma Green was amongst the goals for Slough Town in their 3-2 win at Arbour Park. The victory sees the Rebels climb to fifth place in Division One North as they remain unbeaten in all competitions in November.

Goalkeeper Holly Robinson, Caversham United’s shootout saviour

Caversham United welcomed Newport Pagnell Town Development to the hallowed turf of Mapledurham in the Berks & Bucks Women’s Trophy. Scarlett Caddy and Katie Dearling both found the net in the 90 minute but Newport showed up with two goals a piece too, taking the game to penalties.

De ja vu for the Goats having faced Burghfield in the First Round and seen the exact same result as this Quarter-Final tie. But their real hero wasn’t Freya Jenkins winning penalty, rather Holly Robinson’s sensational headed save.
