Slough Town head to FA Youth Cup Third Qualifying Round with big derby win

Slough Town are through to the FA Youth Cup Third Qualifying Round after a comprehensive 4-1 win over Berkshire neighbours Maidenhead United at York Road.

Kian Berry scored twice for the Rebels but it was Frankie Phillips who opened the scoring after 11 minutes. Maidenhead equalised but Berry’s first came on 33 minutes and he got his second on 64.

An own goal wrapped things up for Slough and the Rebels will be joined in the Third Qualifying Round by either Bracknell Town or Windsor & Eton who play on Friday at Bottom Meadow.

Thatcham Town fell to Oxford City 3-0 on Tuesday night.

  • Bracknell Town vs Windsor & Eton (Friday 3rd – 7:45pm)
  • Maidenhead United 1-4 Slough Town
  • Oxford City 3-0 Thatcham Town
