Last season, Tadley Calleva took AFC Bournemouth to penalties after a 0-0 draw and lost in the Hampshire Senior County Cup, this season they face Eastleigh of the Vanarama National League and came out on top.

Fresh from FA Vase Second Round success, the Romans held their visitors – four divisions higher – to a 1-1 draw and emerged 5-3 winners on penalties setting up a possible tie with Aldershot Town, Southampton, Basingstoke Town or even a rematch with the Cherries in the last eight.

Sol Ceesay – a second half sub for Tadley – was the hero in injury time, equalising Connor Underhill’s 18th minute Eastleigh goal and the Romans would go on to score all five penalties in the shootout.

Across the north of the county, Eversley & California’s cup run came to an end at home to Winchester City. The Boars were beaten 4-1 by the Southern League Premier Division South side.
