FA Vase holders Ascot United are through to the First Qualifying Round of the 2023/24 Emirates FA Cup following a tremendous 5-1 win over Mangotsfield United.

The Yellas were a goal up in the opening minute through Jordan Ajanlekoko but it took until the 40th minute for their second when Harry Grant’s diving header doubled the score and Brendan Matthew scored his 50th for the club shortly after.

Matthew’s 51st came after the break and it was certainly game over at 4-0 and he completed his hat-trick from the spot just before the final whistle after Mangotsfield had scored a consolation.
