Bracknell Town suffered late late Southern League Play Off Final heartbreak as Truro City won promotion to the Vanarama National League South in injury time.

Truro lead twice with Bracknell pegging them back, only for the visitors to win it 3-2 in injury time.

Truro were 1-0 up at half time through Tyler Harvey but Darryl Sanders kept his cool early in the second to level from the penalty spot.

The visitors were quickly back in the lead through Rocky Neal but Gary Abisogun, the match winner on Wednesday night in the semi final against Chesham United, acrobatically levelled again for Bracknell, dispatching an overhead kick while on the deck.

Just as the game looked to be headed to extra time though, Connor Riley-Lowe fired a winner with seconds left on the clock.

Nothing will surely take away what has been an incredible 2022/23 season for Bracknell that saw them live on ITV in the FA Cup, take on National League royalty in Altrincham in the FA Trophy and almost win the Southern League. Defeat will hurt for some time no doubt, but Bracknell will no doubt emerge stronger and fancy another shot at the title.
