It looked like the game might be up for Reading FC Women at the Select Car Leasing Stadium after 90 minutes that saw them trail 1-0 to fellow FA Women’s Super League strugglers Leicester City.
Prior to the game both sides had zero points from their opening four and five fixtures respectively meaning this meeting between the Royals and Foxes carried some pressure.
It certainly looked like it would be Leicester who would wear it best when they led through Natasha Flint after 36 minutes with Reading unable to make anything stick.
Enter Rachel Rowe, regularly the engine of the side who this time turned saviour inside two injury time minutes.
First her corner sailed over everyone including Foxes keeper Kirstie Levell to net a sensational equaliser and then she moved things up a notch on 92 minutes with a stupendous long-range winner.
