An unfamiliar set of circumstances for managerless Bracknell Town’s FA Second Qualifying Round tie but it started off very much ‘business as usual’.
The Robins only defeat in recent memory came at the hands of Chesham United but it was they who went ahead in the second half when Jordan Esprit converted a penalty won by George Knight in the 56th minute.
Chesham fired back though in minutes 74 and 79, taking the lead with the second strike from the penalty spot looking enough to win the cup tie.
However, Knight had the final say in the game grabbing an equaliser in injury time to make it 2-2 and earn a replay. The FA Cup Third Qualifying Round draw is on Tuesday.
In the FA Youth Cup, Reading City won the Berkshire derby, beating Wokingham & Emmbrook 4-1 while Langley beat North Greenford United 4-1.
