Sandhurst Town lifted the Fripp-Smith Trophy on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Spelthorne Sports at Farnham Town’s ground.

Seb Bowerman scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot following a handball by a Spelthorne defender in the first half.

Fizzers skipper Max Herbert was presented the trophy at full-time by the Barbara Fripp, Gordon Fripp’s widow who the competition was, in part, named after.

The finals now come thick and fast in the Combined Counties League with a full list on the CCL website here – with Ascot United featuring in the Cherry Red Records Challenge Cup against Redhill on Saturday 29th May at Cobham FC.
