Mortimer 2 Maidenhead Town 3

The season is only five games old for Mortimer yet they played in their third 3-2 of the season on Saturday at the Alfred Palmer Memorial Playing Fields. This time they were on the receiving end of a 3-2 defeat against Maidenhead Town. Two late goals from Town’s Ryan Adams and Harry Combe handed the away side victory. Alex Millar and Stefan Allen were the goalscorers for the Villagers with Ryan Adams also scoring for Maidenhead in the first half.

Finchampstead 4 Reading City U23 0

Finch stormed to the top of the table with a 4-0 victory over Reading City U23 at Memorial Park on Saturday. All the goals were scored in a frenetic first half. A brace from Callum Valance and a goal apiece from James Payne and Stephen Hunt continued the home side’s unbeaten run. Reading City U23 have now lost all four games this season and are bottom of the Premier Division table.

Cookham Dean 1 Newbury 3

Newbury have continued their solid start to the season, winning 3-1 away at Cookham Dean. Newbury are still unbeaten so far this term, Cookham Dean are still searching for their first win of the season.

Marlow United 1 Wraysbury Village 2

Wraysbury Village moved into second place in the Premier Division with a 2-1 victory at Marlow. Goals from Matthew Andrew and Billy Hart handed the away team all three points. It doesn’t get any easier for Marlow United as they face another unbeaten side in Newbury next weekend.

Richings Park 3 Burghfield 1

A brace from Aaron Jones and a solitary strike for Ricky Caves were enough to see Richings Park earn all three points on Saturday. The win lifts Park over Burghfield in the league table.

Windlesham & Chobam 1 Woodley United 4

Woodley United Royals secured their first victory of the season at Chobham on Saturday. Nathan Lock, Liam Wilson and Frank Barnard were all on the scoresheet for Royals who are now in 10th place. Luke Edmondson scored Windlesham & Chobham’s goal.
