The big second versus third fixture in the Vanarama National League South on Saturday finished 1-1 after Slough Town were pegged back by Havant & Waterlooville.
The Rebels lead just before half time through Matt Lench who reacted quickest to a defensive mistake and tucked the ball past the Havant goalkeeper at an acute angle.
Jonah Ayunga levekked things up in the second half, bundling the ball home at the far post after the ball had been twice flicked on from a throw.
Post match, joint Rebels boss Neil Baker suggested leaders Wealdstone might be the happiest side at full time! “Two competitive teams and two contrasting 45 minutes due to the weather! However seriously proud of our lads today against a side packed full of experience! Another point closer to trying to secure a play off place! Wealdstone will be delighted.”
