Slough Town’s FA Trophy run ended with a 3-2 Third Qualifying Round replay defeat to Concord Rangers on Tuesday night.

The Rebels had been held to a 0-0 draw on Saturday but the visitors took the lead nine minutes in to the replay.

Warren Harris levelled things up five minutes before the break, heading home from Max Worsfield and gave the Rebels the lead on 54 minutes.

It should have all been over with Slough looking forward to an away day at Maidstone or Dartford in the First Round when Matt Lench stepped up to take a 67th minute penalty.

Unfortunately for Rebels bosses Neil Baker and Jon Underwood, Lench’s strike went over the bar and Danny Green made no mistake with a spot kick for the visitors on 73 minutes, awarded for handball.

Harris then had multiple chances to complete his hat trick but Concord delivered the killer blow in injury time when Kreshnic Krasniqi struck.

Down in Kent, there were more goals as Maidenhead United fought back from 2-0 down to beat Dover Athletic 4-3 in the Vanarama National League.

Ruel Sotiriou scored twice on 5 and 14 minutes for Dover but two goals from Jake Cassidy and one from Ryan Upward in the first half was followed by a 53rd minuted strike from Joseph Ellul.

Paul Rooney pulled one back for Dover on 66 minutes but the Magpies held on despite Ellul receiving a second yellow card in injury time having only just returned from suspension.

Bracknell Town also had a good night away from home, the Robins travelled to Buckinghamshire with new goalkeeper Chris Rackley to face Isthmian League rivals Chalfont St Peter in the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup.

Mark Tallentire’s side were held to a 2-2 draw having lead 2-0 through Nathan Minhas and Dan Bayliss but emerged victorious in the shoot out with Harrison Bayley hitting the decisive penalty in a 4-2 win.

Bracknell join Beaconsfield Town, Hungerford Town, Marlow, Aylesbury United, Newport Pagnell Town and Didcot Town in the Second Round draw with Maidenhead United and Binfield still to play.
