It took a replay at Wealdstone, but Vanarama National League side Maidenhead United made it a third FA Cup First Round Proper appearance in a row on Tuesday night.

The Magpies will host EFL League One Rotherham United at York Road, a fixture that will have at least delighted the clubs Media Head Grace Scott.

Last season, it was Portsmouth that headed to York Road and departed with a 4-0 win while in 2017/18 it was an away day to the Ricoh Arena and Coventry City.

On Saturday, it took an 86th minute Ryan Upward equaliser to ensure Maidenhead were in the hat for the draw on Monday, but Alan Devonshire’s side made sure it was they and not their hosts that would welcome the Millers when they won the replay 2-0 thanks to a double strike from Josh Kelly in the 14th and 56th minutes.
