BetVictor Isthmian League Bracknell Town picked up another pre season win on Saturday defeating Winchester City 2-0.

It was a welcome return for a former player as George Short was named among the City substitutes, but it was two new faces who did the damage for Bracknell with Dan Bayliss and latest signing Nicholas Bignall who got on the score sheet.

Across at Stag Meadow, Windsor – who play Bracknell on Tuesday night – beat the 2018/19 Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division champions Wantage Town 7-1.

The Royalists might have lost some big players in the last few weeks with Barry Hayles, Dan Roberts and Hugo Sobte departing but Mick Woodham’s side certainly look in good shape.
