Buckinghamshire side Marlow leap-frogged Bracknell Town in to second place in the Bostik League South Central Division One after a big 6-0 win at Hanwell Town on Saturday.

The win also cut top of the table Hayes & Yeading United’s lead to six points, but crucially the leaders still have two games in hand on most of the league despite dropping two points in a 2-2 draw at Ashford Town (Middlesex).

Marlow were 2-0 up at half time at Reynolds Field after James Clark – who later went on to complete a hat trick, and Devontae Romeo put the blues in front.

Bracknell also dropped points, Sean Moore on hand with a late equaliser for the Robins in a 1-1 at Bedfont Sports.

It wasn’t a great day to drop points in the South Central Division all told, you need to go down to tenth placed Northwood before you find a side that lost, the Woods going down 3-1 at home to fifth placed Westfield
