Ascot United were beaten to Christmas at the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division after being held to a 3-3 draw at Lydney Town on Saturday while Reading City did their chances of staying up with an important win at Fairford Town.
In the Bostik League, Bracknell Town got back to winning ways with a big 6-1 win at FC Romania where Adam Cornell hit a hat trick while Binfield beat Holmer Green 4-0 in the Hellenic Premier with Ian Davies hitting three of his own.
Only one local game of note on Boxing Day as Windsor were beaten 2-1 by tenants Virginia Water at Stag Meadow.
