Binfield progressed to the Third Round of the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup on Monday night courtesy of a 3-1 win against Woodley United.
The match was switched to Binfield’s home over the weekend in a bid to get the game on and it paid off for Roger Herridge’s side.
The Moles led after eight minutes through Carlo Santoro, giving the Moles 1-0 half time lead.
Jamie Mitchell replaced Santoro late in the first half and gave Binfield a 2-0 lead just after the hour and Ian Davies made it safe on 67 minutes but there was a consolation for Woodley when Max Laschok continued his impressive goal scoring run on 79 minutes.

The Bracknell News’ Dave Wright spoke to Herridge after the match with the Moles boss saying it was a poor display from his side, and that he was looking to bring in one or two players to an injury hit squad.
Monday nights other Floodlit Cup game between Kidlington Development and Flackwell Heath was postponed.
There are plenty more fixtures on Tuesday night though. Rob Davies has rounded up all the Floodlit Cup midweek ties here.
