Binfield miss out on MK Dons tie in County Cup

Binfield are out of the Berks & Bucks FA County Senior Cup after a 1-0 defeat at Wantage Town on Tuesday night.

Damien Robertson scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to earn the Freds a second round home tie with EFL League 2 side MK Dons.

In the other remaining First Round tie in the County Cup, Marlow beat Didcot Town 3-1 to setup a tie at Hellenic Premier Division leaders Ascot United.

In the Hellenic League Subsidiary Cup, Wokingham & Emmbrook were beaten 3-0 by Division 1 East pace setters AFC Aldermaston at the Rec Soc.

Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup First Round

  • Marlow 3-1 Didcot Town
  • Wantage Town 1-0 Binfield
