Bracknell Town are headed back to step four of the English Football Pyramid after a 2-0 win at Woodley United on Tuesday night in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.

TJ Bohane and Joe Grant were the men on the score sheet for the Robins at Scours Lane after a goalless first half. Bohane netted on 51 minutes, heading home Elliott Legg’s cross while Grant’s goal came in injury time.

Bracknell now face a Thursday night trip to Lydney Town as they look to chase down Thatcham Town in the race for the title with goals the order of the day. Bracknell and Thatcham will be tied on points at the end of the season if they win their remaining games – the blues currently have the superior goal difference.

It’s worth remembering that while Bracknell have won promotion, it’ll be some time before we learn which step four league and division they will be place in to – though it’s highly likely to be within the Evo-Stik Southern League.
