Holyport were the big winners on Tuesday night as they beat Wokingham & Emmbrook 5-1 in a rare floodlit outing for the Sumas at Summerleaze.

Wokingham boss Dan Bateman had targeted the Bluefin Sport Supplementary Cup in an interview with the Wokingham Paper last week but it was the home side who advanced to the quarter finals of the competition as the snow came down on a cold evening.

The Sumas saw a few changes to the starting line up with Will Day and Joe Cummuskey on the bench but Port led at half time through Alert Marques but Matt Lambert levelled with his second goal of the season after the break on 51 minutes for Wokingham.

There was a quick reply from the hosts though who went back in front shortly after and it got worse for the Sumas as Holyport added to their 10 minutes later and wrapped things up with 72nd and 76th minute strikes.

Wokingham kindly shared a couple of images of the snow!
